Blogging is definitely better in the age of Social Media, and the Millenial generation must realize that that is where most of the future jobs/careers are going to be found - via Social Media.

I do not expect it to viral but it would be interesting to see what the impact of it has compared to YouTube. Facebooks puts a ton of videos on my wall, I rarely watch any, but since I don't scroll the page, Facebook assumes I am watching them... at least according to the article you posted.
I probably would not use your technique exactly as I only post content I created on my page. But I certaibly get how Richard Pryor would attract a ton of attention. I'll let you know if I see any appreciable difference between Facebook and YouTube. Also Facebook has a 1G max video size (at least for me). Despite what the linked article implied ,Facebook video, in its current state, poses no threat to YouTube. less

The internet and world wide web replaced the 'white pickett fence', and social media is the driving force that keeps everyone 'in-the-know'.
In order to have a successful blog you have to push and publish it and by using at least two social media networks you are guaranteed better results. Advertisers understand that bloggers are one of their biggest promoters, good, bad or indifferent, therefore, when using hashtags to promote a product or service you will receive almost an instant response, especially with Twitter. less

Happy Monday bloggers! What are you blogging plans for the week?
Words to my teacher peers, had an interesting discussion with my students about weight, diet and exercise. Please encourage your students to ask questions and even if it is personal remember they are relying on you for honest answers. Had a young lady ask me why my belly was so big. This was NOT in a disrespectful manner but a honest question. She even said she was not being disrespectful, so remember to keep it real and not personal. The discussion centered on physical metabolism and exercise. I do not get a lot of exercise and this grew into a great discussion on aging and exercise. Be patient and not personal.
