My household is disappointed in Mr. Lemon's journalistic approach and have been for some time...BEFORE Ferguson. His argumentative, divisive and condescending style is the reason issues of this magnitude are disproportionately reported. I hope this post doesn't get much traction because it is the exact attention he's clearly looking for. Take note: He's become the CNN poster child around 'black issues' when there are clearly other reporters more articulate & well versed in matters (Van Jones). Take the blunder he made citing that Mr. Brown incited the protesters to 'burn it down'. While his intro was loud his retraction was small. Where's the OPEN apology to Mr. Brown? Which do you think stuck in the minds of most people? What comments or tirades rather are people more likely to remember? I don't recall him making the same bee line to the Brown family for an interview. I'm actually surprised CNN sent him back after the ... less

Happy Monday bloggers! What are you blogging plans for the week?
Words to my teacher peers, had an interesting discussion with my students about weight, diet and exercise. Please encourage your students to ask questions and even if it is personal remember they are relying on you for honest answers. Had a young lady ask me why my belly was so big. This was NOT in a disrespectful manner but a honest question. She even said she was not being disrespectful, so remember to keep it real and not personal. The discussion centered on physical metabolism and exercise. I do not get a lot of exercise and this grew into a great discussion on aging and exercise. Be patient and not personal.
