Currently writing a book on how black men heal from heartbreak. You have over three thousand books for women to get over a heartbreak, but not one book for men... I want to attack this issue...

I know two men generally who are into writing about relationships Paul Carrick Brunson and CHRIS KAZI ROLLE but I'm not sure if they have specifically written about this topic. Thanks for your comment. Yes, I am very passionate about this book... Being that I am dealing with a broken heart now for more than year is striking a major nerve with me. I searched for a book written by a man that can give me some pointers on how handle my mangled heart, but there were none... I was thinking about writing about my own experience of being heart broken, but I'm still in the process of learning how to heal... It made me mad. I said to myself women have all these self help books on how to overcome a broken heart and there is not one for me... I will look up these two authors that you suggested and see what I can get out of them.. I want to thank you for your input and you are now one of my inspiration for getting this book done, because I suspect that you want to know too how to help a male friend overcome a broken heart.. I think it's because we live in a society that says it is okay for women to talk about emotional issues, but men aren't real men if they speak of feelings. Sad, but true. We are all human beings with a full spectrum of emotions, and we all experience hard tests that affect those emotions. Your book will probably have to be focused on something like the healing and inner growth of men ... instead of "emotions" or "broken-heart", which some men might be intimidated by the sound of that. Of course, I could be wrong, it's just my opinion ... so let the men express how they feel. Nonetheless, I wish you all the best in your endeavors. less

My ex wife is a wayward mother who is chasing some dude for his money and nothing more... She wants my daughters to go after black men with money and forget about the hard working brothers who are capable of maintaining their own. It's sad and it is sickening. I have to go to family court on the 25th just to get visitation. It makes me want to give up, but I refused to.... less

I have two daughters that are being taught by their mom to disrespect the black man. My ex wants them to go after men with money. This is something that should be addressed. There are a lot of brothers who want to be in their kids life, but they have exe's who keep their kids from the father...
