william jackson: Greetings Mr. Harvey, I would enjoy a good dialogue on your show about African Americans and the Internet.
Not just related to FB and games, but using it for education and business.

I think abused women would appreciate someone taking the Sick B.s..d off of their hands. Most abused women have their own reason for remaining in a bad relationship. They want to get out but have a difficult time making it happen. They need help and if that help comes in the way of another woman taking him away then so be it. If you know someone who did what you said, then she has other hidden problems. She really needs help!!!

Without the internet, I would not be conversing with you or anyone else with opinions and with information they would like to share. The internet has opened up an avenue for reaching out and communicating with people in New York, Canada, and as well as here in Georgia, all at the same time. It has created brave souls for those who dare to take advantage of the opportunity to meet, greet, and mingle with new faces and to be able to comment on numerous topics of interest. I have to admit that I was weary of the internet and for a long time hesitated with even posting a picture for fear of the unknown. However, I've been able to interact and communicate with my relatives and friends in different areas of the country. I enjoy this interaction. But, as with any new venture, we still have to watch where we step and censor ourselves at times with what we say. No, I don't think that the internet is making cowards. The internet is for th... less

It certainly allows us to get in touch with our creative side.

April Byrd said:I feel like current black lit has just become a dramatized, grimy reflection of the street, hood, and ghetto life. It's putting out an image of personalities that should not be subscribed to. Passion has been displaced with lust, filth and Ignorance. Whenever I turn the pages of Black Expressions all I mostly see is something about sex, and drug dealers, and just ghetto drama ugh. *Disgusted as I type*. Just venting a little, but I know all is not lost. I've heard rave reviews about Ernessa T. Carter's "32 Candles" Has anybody read it?
You are so right! I hate going into my local bookstore and walking over to the African American Lit section only to find Toni Morrison hidden behind 80000 copies of "Candy Licker" and "Welfare Wifeys".

When I come across blatant spelling errors and speak up, the first thing that happens from others perspective is instantaneous anger. From my standpoint, how can you take a writer seriously if he or she can't seem to grasp or get a decent handle on the English language? Another erroneous error I am seeing are those who put a question mark at the end of a (period) ending statement. Where in the world did that mess ever come from? Why is it that we have a (very) hard time with constructive criticism? No harm, no foul. This is just my *humble* opinion. less
