You will have a bit of cream left behind in the coconut milk, but that’s okay. You want avoid getting milk in with the cream as much as possible. Step 2 – Using a blender or hand blender (you can try an electric mixer if you have a powerful one), beat together the coconut cream, agave or honey and vanilla extract. Step 3 – Put your coconut cream in a container and place it back in the fridge for a few hours to allow it to really solidify (if you can stand the wait!). Eat and Enjoy! For more recipes  less

What about African, Caribbean, Latin and Afro-European literature? Our experiences will be always be limited if we take on the attitude of, nothing exists beyond our shores. Africans all over the world have so much to learn from and teach to, one another. First we'll have to acknowledge that we all fall under the category of Africans and we have to accept our family on the continent and the rest of the world and they'll have to accept us. There is an amazing amount of art being created all the time by US but if WE don't recognize it then we're losing our legacy. We all have to make more effort to develop ways to exchange and promote African arts among our fellow Africans and the rest of the world if we want to see our artists gain the recognition that they deserve.  less

It's putting out an image of personalities that should not be subscribed to. Passion has been displaced with lust, filth and Ignorance. Whenever I turn the pages of Black Expressions all I mostly see is something about sex, and drug dealers, and just ghetto drama ugh. *Disgusted as I type*. Just venting a little, but I know all is not lost. I've heard rave reviews about Ernessa T. Carter's "32 Candles" Has anybody read it? You are so right!  I hate going into my local bookstore and walking over to the African American Lit section only to find Toni Morrison hidden behind 80000 copies of "Candy Licker" and "Welfare Wifeys".   Rotflmao! Touche'!  less
