  • About Me I have 3 blogs: 1---'It May Not Be Pretty But It's Mine!' http://itmaynotbeprettybutitsmine.blogspot.com/ A raw insight to my soul. My personality, my desires, my triumphs, my needs, my struggles, and my vices 2---'GingerSNAPS and VODKA' http://gingersnapsvodka.blogspot.com The magnifying glass into 'Life's' core. 3---'Does Anyone Else See The Big Ass Elephant In The Room?' http://letstalkelephants.blogspot.com Is a blog designed to shine the light to those 'issues' everyone knows exist but try to ignore because they don't want to talk about it. 'It May Not Be Pretty But It's Mine!' is the primary blog in my blog series. I have been asked 'Why three blogs? Why not just one?' Each blog relates to a specific part of the world in which I live yet in totality, make up ME. I have Opinions. LOTS OF OPINIONS. My life has UPs and a lot of DOWNs. INs and a lot of OUTs. I am a first time 'Blogger' but blogging may be a better way for me to loosen the duck tape everyone tries to put over my mouth.

What about African, Caribbean, Latin and Afro-European literature? Our experiences will be always be limited if we take on the attitude of, nothing exists beyond our shores. Africans all over the world have so much to learn from and teach to, one another. First we'll have to acknowledge that we all fall under the category of Africans and we have to accept our family on the continent and the rest of the world and they'll have to accept us. There is an amazing amount of art being created all the time by US but if WE don't recognize it then we're losing our legacy. We all have to make more effort to develop ways to exchange and promote African arts among our fellow Africans and the rest of the world if we want to see our artists gain the recognition that they deserve.  less

in the topic What aboiut the spouse? HELP in the forum Share Your Thoughts

For those of you that are married and have blogs that may sometimes include the good, bad, and even ugly aspects of your marriage, DOES YOUR SPOUSE KNOW ABOUT YOUR BLOG?

I currently have this issue. I love my husband, but Im gonna be real..He is not easy to deal with. But if im gonna do this blog thing, Im not going to do it with 'off limit' topics.

So, ridiculous as it sounds, and I admit itis ridiculous, I have more than one blog. One my husband knows about AND ONE HE DOESNT! Which seem so stupid to me.

How can I have an open, honest blog AND STILL KEEP MY MARRIAGE?
