The one thing I take issue with is your statement that dancing to this kind of music "can lead to rape". Women's behaviour does not lead to rape. Men's behaviour leads to rape. A woman can dance to whatever she wants to, shake whatever she wants to shake. It does not give a man a licence to attack her. Men have been using this kind of argument for millennia, rather than take responsibility for their own actions. It's time for women to stop taking the rap for rape.  less

A good student of the Bible can read the scriptures you mentioned and see the children of slavery. When I first read it, I was blown away and wondered why ministers were not preaching on this. The curses are bad but that is how we are living now. We know of the blessing in Deut. (Blessed in the City, blessed in the field, etc) but those promises of blessings only come with obeidence to God and His Word. Great comment!

One reason is that we as blacks bring somethings on ourselves, such as the word GHETTO that we embrace so much. We can't allow ourselves to get mad when someone else decides to use it around us. Another thing is that we are not the only people who live in the Ghetto. White folks has the trailer parks, and every other race has a slum area that they live in. I think that we are to sensitive at times, and sometimes things about us are true. Hell I was born and raised in the ghetto, and most of my family was, so if someone wants to call us ghetto, then more power to them. Ghetto does not mean black though, but at the same time, we have embraced the word and made it popular. Every race has ways of expressing themselves, but us black folks has to learn to loosen up because we love to pick and clown on people.  less

    Google Adsense is a good way to start out until you find the type of products you want to advertise. Also sign up for commission junction, linkshare, and shareasale.com to pick affiliate programs to advertise.
