I always start with Google Adsense but like others mentioned there are clickbank, commision junction and shareasale. You can also go to buysellads.com. There you can see similar sites to yours and what what they are charging. Lastly ad layout will play a large part. My site: http://www.tvsmacktalk.com went from a right bar layout, to a left which made all the difference in the world. That was the 15th chane and I went from a CTR of .03% to .35% - which is good for an untargetted site. For a targetted site you will see more like a CTR of 1%- 2% Good Luck Everyone.  less

It's putting out an image of personalities that should not be subscribed to. Passion has been displaced with lust, filth and Ignorance. Whenever I turn the pages of Black Expressions all I mostly see is something about sex, and drug dealers, and just ghetto drama ugh. *Disgusted as I type*. Just venting a little, but I know all is not lost. I've heard rave reviews about Ernessa T. Carter's "32 Candles" Has anybody read it? You are so right!  I hate going into my local bookstore and walking over to the African American Lit section only to find Toni Morrison hidden behind 80000 copies of "Candy Licker" and "Welfare Wifeys".   Rotflmao! When I come across blatant spelling errors and speak up, the first thing that happens from others perspective is instantaneous anger. From my standpoint, how can you take a writer seriously if he or she can't seem to grasp or get a decent handle on the English language? Another erroneous error I am seeing are those who put a question mark at the end of a (period) ending statement. Where in the world did that mess ever come from? Why is it that we have a (very) hard time with constructive criticism? No harm, no foul. This is just my *humble* opinion.    less
