There are many different types of instruments. A flute in which one has to blow air through and hold or release different holes in order for the sound to come out. A guitar-where the person will pluck certain strings and hold certain strings down. A piano-the keys are pressed down on-white or black keys- in order to make its sound. These sounds are represented by "NOTES"-notes in music are a written sign representing the pitch and duration of a musical sound-a single tone of definite pitch made by a musical instrument or human voice. Instruments have to be played by someone in order to make the music or sound it was designed to produce. If the person playing is not familiar with the proper notes or in the way to handle the instrument, the sound will only be noise-it won't be played right! Read Romans 6:11-14. These verses of scripture speak about how we are not to offer our parts as instruments of wickedness, but to be instruments of righteousness. Saul was an instrument of wickedness as he persecuted Christians; but one powerful encounter with Jesus changed his "tune" from Saul to Paul and as stated in Acts 9:15. GOD purposed us here to be useful in HIS kingdom. We are HIS instruments here in the natural. Our goal is to glorify GOD-whatever we do is to give GOD praise and to demonstrate to the world who Christ is. So allow GOD to use you as HIS instrument on this earth- make beautiful music for Him.
