Read 2 Timothy 3:14-17. I once heard an acronym for the Bible- "Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth". The Bible is God's teaching, message and love letter to us. We can trust its contents because the men who wrote it did it under the inspiration of God through the Holy Spirit. In today's society, there are many false teachers who try and spread man-made doctrines and falsehood. Many also think that the Bible is a collection a fables and "nice stories". This book- our sword- reveals to us the nature of God and gives us the ammunition to fight the enemy. We must find time EVERYDAY to read it AND apply it to our lives. The Bible is the standard by which we test everything around us and safeguards our walk with God.
