About My Weightloss Journey



  • I am here to share my journey and to help other women to succeed
    at losing weight along with me! We will be sharing our thoughts, ideas and
    menus that will actually work for us throughout this process. Having tried a
    gajillion diets, I understand how when we want to lose weight, we tend to look for the answer outside
    ourselves. We want a magic solution, a secret formula. I use to wish somebody
    would just tell me the answer, show me the way. Someone did! But I’ve also
    learned what Glenda, the good witch, told Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, ” You always had it. You always
    had the power.” You know the real secret is within you. These ten steps
    can show you the way. They can bring you home to yourself.



    Exercise aerobically, five to seven days each week ( preferably
    in the morning).



    Exercise in the zone ( at a level seven or eight).



    Exercise for 20 to 60 minutes each exercise session.



    Eat a low fat, balanced diet
    each day.



    Eat three meals and two snacks each day.



    Limit or eliminate alcohol. ( It tires you out and puts weight
    on you)



    Stop eating two to three hours before bedtime.



    Drink six to eight glasses of water each day.



    Have at least two servings of fruit and three servings of
    vegetables each day.



    Renew your commitment to healthy living each day ( Daily
    Renewal).

    Ladies these are the same ten most effective and most efficient
    changes that Oprah Winfrey used in her weight loss, she says that these changes can make you or
    help you increase your metabolism and lose weight. Adopt them into your life,
    and you will have a healthier body and mind. The rough part is finding the discipline,
    inner strength, and will power to carry out the ten steps. There are plenty of
    shortcuts out there, but believe me they don’t work, I’ve tried them and I am
    sure you have as well. Some even work temporarily. But following the ten steps
    daily is the way to permanent weight loss. Hello bloggers that are following me
    on my blog, instead of focusing exclusively on publishing content for my blog
    to share with all of you, I would really like it if we can interact with each
    other on some given topics of interest. I would like to encourage all of you
