Blogging platform Tumblr recently announced that it is official banning blogs that promote and provide tips on anorexia, bulimia, self-cutting and suicide. Tumblr does not wish to infringe on anyone's right of free speech but can not allow blogs that have the potential to harmful actions to continue on their blogging platform. They are providing a grace period for blogs that may fit into these categories, to change their material. After, the grace periods, these types of blogs will not longer be present on Tumblr.
