    I admire Condoleezza Rice, but I don’t know how she does it. Last night, I listened to most of her Republican National Convention speech. She is such an eloquent and substantive speaker. I agreed with her on most of her points except her positive references to the Bush administration. Give that one to God, Ms. Rice...

    But as I watched her (she looked lovely by the way), I found myself wondering how she feels comfortable surrounded by members of a political party that “unapologetically” use fear and divisiveness to motivate its voter base. Those references to welfare, the real America and wanting their country back, is not lost on me. I know what they mean. We all know. And surely Condoleeza Rice knows. So again I ask: how does she do it?
